About the ITA

The International TaeKwonDo Alliance (ITA) is a leading Martial Arts Association active since 1977. The ITA is a large organization with over 300 schools and 10,000 active members. Finney's TaeKwonDo Plus is honored to be a member of this professional organization.

New ITA Changes

Effective January 1, 2010 the International Taekwondo Alliance has instituted some new changes that are exciting. This will allow students to not only learn forms, but contact skills, escape skills, sparring and board breaking. The changes affect every rank from White through 3rd Degree Level 2, because of this we feel it is best to have an open discussion with the parents. This is a recommended meeting and if you miss out you may feel like you do not understand the changes. We are doing it in an open setting to answer questions that may come up and to eliminate any confusion.
